How to Help SNSD Win on Music Shows?

Couresty of netiz9n & Soshified and suggested by Girls'Generation Tunisia.

As SNSD released their new album and music video, they will be promoting on music shows such as Music Bank and Inkigayo. Hence they'll be up against recongnized artists such as 2NE1 and CNBlue. This is why the girls will need SONE's help to win with ease. Here's how.

I. Music Shows
     MNet M!Countdown
          • 50%: Digital Sales MelOn, Soribada, Bugs
          • 10%: Album Sales Hanteo, Synnara, Hot tracks
          • 10%: Social Media Score Youtube, Twitter
          • 10%: Rating Fan voting, Age Preference
          • 10%: Broadcast Score
          • 10%: Live Voting

     KBS Music Bank
          • 65%: Digital Sales MelOn, Soribada, Bugs
          • 20%: Broadcast Points Frequency of appearances on KBS TV and Radio shows, song plays
          • 10%: Voting requires KSSN, international fans cannot vote
          • 5%: Physical Sales Hanteo, Synnara, Hot tracks

     MBC Show! Music Core
          • 70%: Physical + Digital Sales Hanteo, Synnara, Hot tracks + MelOn, Soribada, Bugs
          • 10%: Music Video Views must be from official channel
          • 10%: Pre-Voting voting through MBC’s website, voted by a committee of 2000 people
          • 10%: Live Voting top 3 nominees eligible only

     SBS Inkigayo
          • 60%: Digital Sales MelOn, Soribada, Bugs
          • 35%: SNS Score Youtube + Twitter, uses Gaon’s Social Chart Rankings
          • 10%: Live Voting only top 3 artists are eligible
          • 5%: Pre-Voting voting through mobile app ‘엠앤TV톡’

II. Physical Sales
There are two major charts that monitor physical album sales in Korea: Hanteo and Gaon. Sales from the following online stores count towards Hanteo and Gaon:

III. Digital Sales (Downloads + Streaming)
SNSD will not chart on Cyworld because of the ban on SM artists. iTunes does NOT count towards Korean charts whatsoever.

Downloading is when you buy a song and save it to your personal device (ex. iPod). It is similar to purchasing a song on iTunes.
Streaming is when you play a song through a respective site’s player or mobile application. This is similar to Spotify. Downloading the song and playing it through iTunes/Winamp/etc is not streaming.

IV. Online Voting

M!Countdown: Vote here using your Facebook, Twitter and MNet accounts if you have one for more votes. Making an MNet account is recommended and easy since the site is available in English. Please make sure to vote daily in the voting period (Firday to Monday). You can also vote from MNet's Korean website. This counts 5% of M!Countdown's criteria.
Music Bank: Music Bank requires KSSN, thus, foreigners cannot vote.
Show! Music Core: The voting on MBC is done by registering an MBC ID and applying to become part of a special 2000 viewer committee. This is a guide by netiz9n on how to apply to the committee.
Inkigayo: As mentionned above, voting on Inkigayo is done by 엠앤TV톡 app. If you're using Apple, click here, if you're using Android, click here. Another tutorial by netiz9n on how to use the app is right here.

V. Live SMS Voting
SNS : Social Network Sites
These points are worth 10% on M!Countdown and 35% on Inkigayo. Hence, it's really important, please do this one at least if you cannot pay for anything mentionned above.
   SNS points are earned on:

Twitter: Hashtag your tweets with #소녀시대 or #소녀시대미스터미스터. Tweets can be random. Use a maximum of two hashtags (both of those) otherwise your tweet won't be counted, it's a spam. In addition to that, make sure your account is public, or else your mentions won't be counted.
Facebook: Like SNSD's Official Facebook page, comment and like the posts.
YouTube: Stream Mr.Mr. MV from SMTOWN's Official Channel. Also stream their live performances from the broadcast's official cannels: SBS | MNet | MBC. Like, favorite, and comment on the MV/live performances. Of course, play the videos in full.
Korean Social Sites: Search 소녀시대 on Nate, Naver and Daum
