U-KISS' Kevin apologizes to fans who were offended by their latest MV and choreography

With many expressing their thoughts on U-KISS' 19+ rated comeback MV, member Kevin recently took to Twitter to apologize to those who were offended by the video and the choreography.

As many have already seen, the boys came back with a much more mature concept than fans are used to seeing from them for their song "Don't Flirt" ("Quit Playing"). In addition to the seductive scenes, the choreography also caused a bit of a setback as it was recently deemed unfit for broadcast and had to be modified. As with most mature themed concepts, there were mixed responses, and it seems Kevin wanted to offer an explanation and apologize to those who may have been offended by it.

He wrote,

"I want to share my heart with everyone because I care about you and I want to be honest with all of you. As you know, I'm part of a group and sometimes being a part of a group and working in the entertainment industry means I don't always have full creative freedom to do things how I wish. This inner conflict that I deal with as a K-Pop artist and group member applies to this situation. I personally do not believe in the behavior portrayed in our music video 'Quit Playing', and the characters we had to portray in this music video were not the characters I chose. I would like to apologize to our fans and viewers who might have been offended by the material in the music video and choreography. Thank you for allowing me to share my heart about this situation."

His feelings about the situation serves as a reminder that various factors come into play in the entertainment scene, making it difficult for artists, especially idol groups, to always have 100% control over their music and image.
