PSY to comeback with new song, “Hangover”, premieres on Jimmy Kimmel Live June 8th.

With high expectations after “Gangnam Style” and “Gentlemen”, PSY is set to release his new song “Hangover” June 8th in America! Finally, after a hiatus of a year, Psy is coming back with a new song “Hangover”.

He will be debuting the new song on Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show on June 8th.

"Hangover" is said to be a total different style from his previous hits with a more hip-hop vibe and fans are excited for the reveal of his new song.

Some speculate G-Dragon, 2NE1 and Snoop Dogg will make cameos in his music video due to a picture posted back in Janurary with the caption: “HANGOVER!! @psy_oppa #psy #gangnamstyle #gentleman”

PSY’s music video for “Gangnam Style” has now hit 2 billion vews on Youtube! YG released a statement saying,”We were very excited but burdened. With a thankful heart, we will make the next comeback even better with a more fun concept”.

2NE1's Dara has been known to have tried all kinds of unique hairstyle that you couldn't imagine. For this comeback, Dara has this 4D unique hairstyle which is difficult to explain. She has those pig-tailed and braided hair with buns on both side. 

What added uniqueness to it is the wet-looked curly strands splatted on her forehead. The photos were shared by CL and Dara on their instagram accounts. Dara captioned, "I hope you're H A P P Y" and attached the photo.

Korea Muslim Federation speaks out against CL's 'MTBD' + YGE reported to remove the controversial portion

CL and her solo track "MTBD" ("Mental Breakdown") from 2NE1's 2nd full-length album 'CRUSH' has become a controversial topic, with many Muslim listeners pointing out that one portion of the background music seems to be a reading of a verse from the Quran.

As the Quran is the central text of Islam, Muslims protested that it is extremely offensive and it should not be made light of by being put in a song or used for entertainment purposes of any form.

The Korea Muslim Federation has now raised a formal complaint, speaking out on the 12th, "Muslims find this song to be a severe insult and are demanding for the agency to take action including quickly removing it or editing the entire song, and apologizing to Muslims... In the case that they don't comply to the demand, we will take action with the Muslims around the world who find this to be a serious matter."

There has not been any official word from the agency, but according to a report by Chosun, YG Entertainment is said to have decided to remove the controversial portion from the song.

YG Entertainment confirms PSY’s comeback!

After all the speculations, YG Entertainment confirms that PSY will be the next artist on their comeback roster for this year!

On March 10th, the agency gave a definitive nod to PSY’s comeback after revealing that the artist already recording his new song and music video. The fact that the production is almost complete was the main factor in the agency’s recent decision.

YG Entertainment went on to reveal that with 2NE1 already starting their promotions for their comeback, PSY will be the second artist in that roster. After PSY, the agency is set to focus on the debuts of WINNER and Akdong Musician, then will focus their attention to Big Bang’s comeback.

No other details on PSY’s new song and music video were revealed, but it was noted that PSY posted a couple of photos of his latest music video shoot which featured Snoop Dogg and G-Dragon.

A definite comeback is being planned this Spring. Are you ready for PSY?
